Hi my name is Georgia! I am a student at the
Amigos school
in Cambridge Massachussets!! Do you know what an
ecosystem
is? If
not, I can tell you all about it. I will even give examples. An ecosystem is a place where there are many plants & animals accustomed to
that place, like the beach, forest, arboretum and mountain range. i am learning about ponds in 6B at the Amigos school. Every day I
learn new things like who lives there and who eats what. Here is some stuff I have learned: leeches
DO
live in ponds; did you know that
plankton, a microscopic creature, lives in every water source? Think about that next time you swim! In most ponds about the size of a
car there are about 10,000,000,000 plankton living there ( in case you are wondering, i got this info at
infoplease.com
)? Bet that you didn't! :D
